We did a private tour and it was fabulous! Our tour guide was funny, informative and we never felt rushed. He was great at including and talking with my almost 3 year old son too. All of the animals seemed very well taken care of and we loved how much we got to interact with them! My son had fun on the playground as well!

Took my kids to Rescue Ranch in Statesville for the first time earlier this month. I can't say enough nice things about this place! We did a guided tour and our guide, Todd, was the absolute best! He was so patient with the kids and taught us about each animal. You can tell he loves them all and his goal is to make sure we left loving them too (even the snakes). Todd is basically the "Steve Irwin" of Statesville! On the tour we got to hold and feed various animals. There is also a great playground for the kids to play on. The location is beautiful and scenic all around. I would highly recommend for kids of all ages as well as those who are kids at heart!

My sister and I took our grandkids for a private tour and they loved it! We had a private tour with Todd and then Leslie. They were wonderful! From the phone call with Cheryl, to make our reservation, to the tour guides and volunteers, they were all so friendly! I highly recommend this place! And the playground was awesome! ❤️

Leslie (that’s what I think her name was) was extremely helpful when I made a call to inquire about a feral kitten. Even though they don’t take kittens, she was helpful in referrals and terminology. If you have a large animal and need help, these people can help or point you in the right direction.

Truly a memorable and unique experience. Rescue Ranch was able to accommodate my last minute request for a birthday adventure with rescue animals! Todd was a great tour guide with much valuable insight to share. We got to feed all kinds of animals and even hold some cute ones! We were happy to help support the well being of over 30+ species of rescue animals! Highly recommend supporting and experiencing this beautiful animal sanctuary❤️

This place is a gem! The programs are fun and engaging, the facilities clean and well-kept, and the animals are happy and well- cared for. The best part is the people who go above and beyond. I'd definitely recommend the Rescue Ranch to anyone looking for an educational opportunity for their animal-loving kiddo.

I brought my two small kids in for a private tour and it was SO worth the money to have this intentional time with one of the staff at Rescue Ranch. It was a hands on experience where my kids were able to meet many of their ambassador animals. Nikki was our guide and she was very knowledgeable and good with kids! We will definitely be coming back!
