Meet Humberto, Animal Ambassador

Humberto is our twelve year old, Cuban Rock Iguana. He has been an animal ambassador at Rescue Ranch since June of 2014. He is one of the first critters that guests see when they come through our front doors, grabbing the attention of kids and adults alike. 

Humberto enjoys spending his days napping under his heat lamp. Chin scratches and head rubs are two of his favorite things - closing his eyes in relaxation and then slowly opening them when you stop as if to say, "why are you stopping?"

Blueberries are by far his favorite food! He will jump down the second you put his food dish down and he goes straight for them!
