Take a Child Outside Week is September 24-30!!

Last Updated 11/5/2024Posted in Homepage

Did you know that September 24th - 30th is TACO Week? No, that doesn't mean we get to eat tacos for every meal, all week, (although some of us here might like to!). TACO week stands for Take a Child Outside

While Rescue Ranch is not an official partner yet, we hope to become an Outdoor Site Partner in the near future.  Getting outside can be beneficial in many ways including:

  • Reduces stress and anxiety.
  • Supports creativity and problem solving.
  • Improves vision.
  • Enhances cognitive abilities.
  • and MORE!
So come on out and enjoy nature with us! Plan a visit today and spend some time on our 10,000 sq ft inclusive playground, walk and explore our nature trails to see all the beauty they have to offer, and while you are here, say hello to many of our barnyard friends!
