Doosan Bobcat Chooses Rescue Ranch for Community Service Initiative

Last Updated 6/19/2023Posted in Homepage

We were extremely excited that Doosan Bobcat returned to Rescue Ranch again this week, for the second year in a row, as part of their Community Service Initiative.  This year, the crew of approximately 20 employees focused on a number of much needed maintenance and landscaping projects.  Their hard work made tremendous impacts on the surrounding landscape beds, the main entrance driveway, barnyard entrance and fencing.

This was many of the Doosan Bobcat team members first time at the Ranch, which made it extra special for many of them.  Their enthusiasm and genuine curiosity about the various programs, each of the animal ambassadors and their stories seemed to help the work projects pass quickly.

Corporate groups and businesses who encourage their employees to engage in these types of volunteer opportunities are exceptional examples of what community is all about.  At the Ranch, we depend on community - and the Doosan Bobcat team is making an impact for us and our community.  Their hard work this week helps allow the employees and regular volunteers to focus on direct animal care initiatives and educational programming to carry out our Mission.

You can read more about the community service initiative in a great article, from Iredell Free News.

Another recap from the Community Service Initiative

In addition to the article in Iredell Free News, there was another reporter present from the Statesville Record & Landmark who wrote a great article as well.

We appreciate the great job that both reporters did, covering this community service initiative.
