Meet Pancake, Animal Ambassador

After spending three months in quarantine, Pancake was officially healthy enough to become a part of our education programs. She is a spicy lizard who prefers to hang out under her basking spot (which can reach temperatures up to 120 degrees!) observing our guests as they come through our doors. She loves fresh green lettuce and her fifteen bean soup. Fun fact: Pancake does not drink any water. She is the only critter at Rescue Ranch that does not have a water dish in her enclosure - she gets all the water she needs from the foods that she eats!

Pancake is a beautiful Uromastyx and we are so thankful she is healthy and full of sass! Next time you visit the Ranch, be sure to look for her in our lobby!
